Fireboy & Watergirl

  Before starting the school year at a new school, I told myself I wasn't gonna be friendly nor make friends, not knowing I would end up meeting some of the most amazing people i've ever met. Usually, I meet people  and expect the friendship to “fade” or just not work out, however, there is one friendship I made that I genuinely know will never fade. Lets call her Jayleen. Me and Jayleen are both in the same grade, and we also share a class and lunch. Even though we have a class with each other, we never really knew each other or even spoke to each other, up until one day we’re me and my friend noticed Jayleen in the lunchroom. Isn't She Lovely

    The moment we all been waiting for.... your favorite star crossed lovers have finally caught each others attention at the Capulet feast in Act 1.5.      Poor Romeo, such a hopeless romantic who fell so deeply in love with whom he thought was the love of his life, Rosaline. However, the feeling wasn't mutual. Rosaline basically kicked Romeo to the curb. His several attempts of winning over his "dream girl" such as, "loving terms, assailing eyes, and saint seducing gold" literally made no difference in Rosaline's feelings for Romeo, she clearly does not want him. This is where Benvolio comes in and saves the day with his advice which unexpectedly took a positive turn in Romeo's love life.  How does assimilation affect students?     Assimilation,  is the act of changing aspects of one’s identity, including cultural identity, to fit societal standards.  Most people feel like they cannot be themselves around others and tend to change things about themselves. Such as, the way they speak, talk or act. This issue happens worldwide. Unfortunately, people don't realize they are just hiding their unique aspects about themselves just to fit in with the rest of the world. What are the different ways assimilation can affect students?      Many students feel the need to assimilate due to society. Some stop wearing traditional because they are ashamed. Instead of feeling embarrasment, students should feel the need to be who they are. However, not everybody is like this. Iconic Foods in The City That Never Sleeps

       Besides the obvious Pizza & Bagels, New York serves several astonishing dishes all the time. Such as sandwhiches, ice cream, burgers, ramen, food trucks etc. NYC is home to most of the best pizza, no argument needed. The city that never sleeps always has different spots everywhere for some dishes that are unmatched. The well known spot, "Roberta's Pizza" located in Brooklyn never fails to make a delicious slice that is made in their wood fire oven. Not only do they serve great pizza, but they also serve a full menu of various dishes, such as, garlic knots, pepperoni rolls, quesadillas etc. NYC is also home to several food trucks.
