Isn't She Lovely
The moment we all been waiting for.... your favorite star crossed lovers have finally caught each others attention at the Capulet feast in Act 1.5. Poor Romeo, such a hopeless romantic who fell so deeply in love with whom he thought was the love of his life, Rosaline. However, the feeling wasn't mutual. Rosaline basically kicked Romeo to the curb. His several attempts of winning over his "dream girl" such as, "loving terms, assailing eyes, and saint seducing gold" literally made no difference in Rosaline's feelings for Romeo, she clearly does not want him. This is where Benvolio comes in and saves the day with his advice which unexpectedly took a positive turn in Romeo's love life. Benvolio notices that Romeo is moping over a girl who he obviously has no chance with. Benvolio tells Romeo to "examine other beauties" (1.1 236), but Romeo refuses to listen.
